THE STORY OF
Bisi Bisi

Bisi Bisi means Hot Hot in Kannada. It all started with the idea of serving authentic South Indian food that included Karnataka delights, but our desire to master Telugu cuisine as a whole inspired us to make the decisive move. Today, regional delicacies from South India dot our menu alongside our famous Thalis.

Frequently asked questions
- When did Bisi Bisi start?
- We started in 2022 in Hyderabad. HITEC City opened first, then Jubilee Hills. There was a third outlet at Wipro Circle Road / Gowlidoddy which we've since closed - the two we run today are HITEC City and Jubilee Hills.
- What does the name Bisi Bisi mean?
- Bisi Bisi means 'Hot Hot' in Kannada. The idea was simple: serve South Indian food the way it tastes best - hot and fresh, just off the kitchen. Karnataka cuisine was where we started, and Andhra and Telangana came in soon after.
- Who's behind Bisi Bisi?
- Pradeep and Ramya, the co-founders. Both have spent over a decade in food and beverage on the marketing side, helping other brands grow. Bisi Bisi is the first restaurant they've built and run themselves.
- What cuisines does Bisi Bisi do best?
- Three regional South Indian kitchens. Andhra (gongura, pulihora, biryani), Telangana (sajja, jonnalu, the rustic side of the state's food), and Karnataka (neer dosa, thatte idli, bisi bele bath). The dine-in menus and the catering menu all lead with these three.
- Where are the outlets?
- Two outlets, both in Hyderabad: HITEC City (Phoenix Tower A, Hitech City Main Road, opposite Trident Hotel, 500081) and Jubilee Hills (Aarka Prime, Plot 797, Road 36, CBI Colony, 500033). Catering goes to all 138 localities across the city and runs out of the Jubilee Hills kitchen.
- How many Google reviews do you have?
- Over 10,700 combined as of April 2026 - around 5,170 at HITEC City (4.2 stars) and 5,550 at Jubilee Hills (4.6 stars). The numbers refresh straight from Google, so what you see on the site stays current.
